  The Cowra Lick Feeder manufactured by Lachlan Steel Fabrications in Cowra has proven to be a real winner for producers who are grain finishing lambs.

The feeder eliminates waste completely, and avoids the trauma associated with trailing feed on the ground, resulting in a dramatic reduction in losses among lambs. The feeder also reduces the problem of disease caused by dust inhalation, an increasingly common cause of carcase rejection in abattoirs.

Ewes no longer leave their lambs to chase the truck, shy stock get ample opportunity to feed in a relaxed atmosphere, and of course there is a considerable saving in time for the producer.

The Lick Feeder is suitable for feeding sheep nuts, meal and hammermill mix as well as straight grain.
